Anniversary of birth of Copernicus

Today, on 19th February there is a 540th anniversary of birth of a famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. Have you known that he was born in Poland? His native town is TORUN, one of the oldest cities in Poland, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
