The Cracow Christmas market as the only one from Poland has been included in the international CNN ranking. The Amercian journalists write that "it is for anyone dreaming of a white Christmas". They mention also local specialities: hand-painted Christmas baubles, spiced nuts and boiled candies. The authors of the ranking also point out that the Cracow Christmas Market is cheap and a visit there is a more pleasant alternative than crowded shopping centres or online shopping.

Among the best Christmas markets in the CNN ranking there is Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin, about which the authors write that it has got the best views thanks to its localisation (near the German  Cathedral, concert hall and the French Cathedral) and Frankfurt Christmas Market organized in Birmingham. The classification couldn´t miss the most famous market organized in Vienna. 151 stalls, unique atmosphere and a huge skating rink in the city centre attract to the capital of Austria thousands of people every year.
