Wrocław – the Polish Venice/ Wrocław – la Venecia polaca
Wroclaw is the fourth largest city in Poland, sometimes called the Polish Venice. The explication is quite easy – during the visit you will have a chance to observe numerous bridges (almost 130) and small islands situated on the Odra river. What is more, the city is also famous for its long and fascinating history, reflected in the impressive architecture. The heart of the city is in the Market Square – the second largest (after Cracow) in Poland, with its beautiful Town Hall built in the gothic style.
